Uwe Nötzel founds FRIMA in Gummersbach as a trading company for brake linings

1997

The company moves to Meinerzhagen

The move to Am Rottland in Meinerzhagen’s industrial zone and the start of in-house friction lining manufacture

2003

New construction

New construction of the present operating site
Am Rottland 25-27 with a production hall, administrative wing, development & test facility

2008

Expansion of the hall

New hall for raw materials, finished goods and consignment store, and for dispatch.

2018

Test field

Expansion of the rooms next to the mixing department as a representative test field and the acquisition of an additional flywheel mass dynamometer test bench.

2021

Expansion of production

Production expansion by hiring a hall in Kierspe for the production of friction paper and special projects.
